Born in 1960 in Świerklaniec.
Graduated from Faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Diploma with distinction.
PhD at the University of Arts in Poznan - 2011.
Scholarships: Transfer 1998 and the Minister of Culture and Art in 1990, 2000, 2007,
Residence: Ostrawa 2007, Český Krumlov 2009.
Artist and curator, animator of cultural life in the field of alternative art in Bytom, Katowice and Jaworzno.
He ran an Art gallery Kronika (Bytom) in 1992-1998.
In the Upper Silesian Cultural Center - he established an art gallery Sektor 1 open to phenomena arising at the interface between visual arts and new technologies and open to multimedia installations.
Besides that he started the Sektor Foundation acting for the benefit of the gallery, author of Biennale of Contemporary Art concept - Art Sector.
In the years 2005/2008, he was a member of the Silesian Contemporary Art Collection Committee - promotion activities for dissemination of modern art, educational projects in the public space of the city: "From the art of buying to the art of cognition", "Art City" and others.
Since 2007, he has been the Vice President of the Sektor Foundation in Katowice - among others organizing and conducting a cyclic educational and cultural program Silesian Art School including workshops, lectures on the theory and history of art, aesthetics, arrangements and author's meetings addressed to recipients of modern art.
Between 2012 - 2017 he was an intermedia lecturer at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
